President Muhammadu Buhari On A Sympathy Visit To Maiduguri Over The Inferno At The Monday Market ~Commissioned The 50 Megawatts Maiduguri Emergency Gas Power Plant. (MEPP) Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum received President Muhammadu Buhari at the Air force base Maiduguri. The President paid homage to the Shehu of Borno and also visited the Monday Market to sympathize with the people and assess the damage. The President also commissioned the Shehu Sanda Kura, Ahmadu Bello way, Lafiya, and Mogoram roads. The New Tashan Bama Motor Park, the Bama road Market the Doctors Quarters at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Bolori Market road, and the Maiduguri Emergency Energy Gas Power Plant (MEPP). President Muhammadu Buhari applauded Gov. Zulum's historical projects and added that the people are lucky to have Zulum as their Governor. The President also sympathized with the Monday Market traders for their loss and assured them that, the government will do all things possible under his leadership to rebuild the market and help the people rebuild their lives He urged them to be patient as the government is working to ease their hardship. Gov. Zulum thanked the President for coming to sympathize with the people of Borno and to use the opportunity to commission projects executed by his administration and that of the Maiduguri Emergency Energy Gas Power Plant executed by the federal government under the distinguished leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.
