For us in Borno State, celebrating the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is very personal and this, as it is well known, is because he had shown us, in his numerous visits, that he stands with us and for us at turbulent times, over the years.
To climax his love for us, Tinubu picked his former running mate and now Vice President-Elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, notably from Borno State.
As a grateful people, we pay good with good and this is what Allah has since ordained.
We celebrate Asiwaju today and we will always do so, insha’Allah.
We pray that Allah grants Mr President-Elect the best of health, the best of strength, the best of wisdom and the best of faith in his obvious passion and vision to work towards Nigeria’s speedy recovery, stability and sustainable prosperity.
