Scripture Reading: Genesis 39:1-20

“From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the LORD was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.”(Genesis 39:5) In verse 3 and 4 where we read yesterday, tells us how Joseph carries God’s presence and because of that, he became a blessing to Potiphar.

Later on, Joseph would become the most powerful man and ruler of Egypt, only second to the Pharaoh. Why, because God was with him. If you are a carrier of God’s presence, every circumstances becomes an avenue of greatness and impartation.

Genesis 39:6-7 says; “So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, “Come to bed with me!” this handsome and well-built servant(Joseph) catches the eye of Potiphar’s wife.

She has probably flirted with Joseph on different occasions and to her surprise, nothing has come of it. If you are a carrier of God’s presence, no matter where you are, sin has no place in you.

But one day, she finally gets her chance to try and seduce Joseph. The scene has been set, no one is around and her husband isn’t around too. Joseph is in the house and Potiphar’s wife invites him to sleep with her. In the process, Joseph ran out of the room to avoid her and he leaves his jacket beyond. There are some situation you finds yourself. Prayer and speaking in tongues can’t solve it at all, the solution is to flee(RUN).

She concluded that this jacket would be used to convince Potiphar of Joseph’s disgraceful act to Potiphar’s wife. To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful week, peace.

Prayer points: Father, I will not give room to lust and I subject to the leading of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
