*I WILL NOT GIVE UP, MY ENEMY WILL GIVE UP.*(Series 4) *Scripture Reading:* James 1:12 *”Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”*(James 1:12 NIV) *”Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”*(AMP) God’s word is coming to you this morning that you should stand firm and keep trusting God even in that storm, never give up, because glory await you at the end. Continuation from where I stopped yesterday: *7) To quilt is to go to Egypt for help:* Isaiah 31:1 declare; *”Woe (judgment is coming) to those who go down to Egypt for help, Who rely on horses And trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek and consult the Lord.”*(AMP). Just as the Lord said to Isaac, do not go down to Egypt for help, live in the land I tell you to stay and I will be with you there and greatly increase you. *Going to Egypt is as partnership with God’s enemy. Agree to go to Egypt is looking for help outside God’s Grace.* *8) To quilt is to follow the worldly patterns:* Do you not know that friendship with the world, dancing to the tone of the world is disconnecting from God’s Grace and mercy. *Following worldly patterns is doing everything in a worldly ways. Your dressing, your makeup, your outing, your snags, on godly character etc.* *9) And finally, to quilt is to agree that there’s no hope:* Believing that all hope was lost and nothing good can hereby come out of your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says; *”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”* To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful week, peace. *Prayer point:* Father, I know you are not through with me yet, I agree with your patterns for my life in Jesus Christ name. Amen! T.S.AFOLAYAN
