*THE POWER BANK.*(Series 5) *Scripture Reading:* Joshua 1:8, *"Be sure that the book of the Law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."*(Good News) Welcoming you to the month of JUNE, and in this new month, you will experience a NEW THING that will makes the name of the Lord be glorified in your life in Jesus Christ name. Don't forget that we started looking at how do you get recharged when you are drained of God's power. And be reminded that the first thing I shared with you is the THE WORD OF GOD. Today's scripture, after the death of Moses, (God's servant) the Lord instructed Joshua on only one thing to do that will make him relevant and feet for the task ahead. *THAT THE WORD OF THE LORD SHOULD NOT DEPART FROM HIS MOUTH.* The psalmist says; *"Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path."*(Psalm 119:105). When the word of God richly dwell in you, it direct your path and ordered your steps. *2) Self Examination:* It is a good thing for believers to keep examining themselves especially in such a time as this. *The world is so corrupt and if we fail to do check and balance, its possible that our spiritual inverter will be drained of completely.* Apostle Paul was giving a warning to the Corinthians to keep examining themselves to know if they are still in faith. *"Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?"*(2Corin 13:5 AMP).
