*THE POWER BANK.*(Series 7) *Scripture Reading:* James 4:7-8 *"So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]."*(AMP) As I round up this series today, I want you to take note of this; *There are many Christians who are connected but not empowered, they are waiting but are not getting anything.* Everyone hails and exalted them, yet, they never knew that they are the most dangerous. Continuation from where we stopped yesterday: *4) Total submission to God:* Another ways to be recharged when you are drained of God's Power is by TOTAL SUBMISSION TO GOD. Verse 7 of our scripture says; *"So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you."* Can you hear it clear: *"SUBMIT TO THE AUTHORITY OF GOD"* It means, you must firstly submit to God before resisting the devil. Listen to this, *the devil himself cannot and can never flee from you if he knew that you have not submitted to the higher authority (God).* Devil will only submit to whosoever that his/her life has been totally released unto God. Verse 8 of the same scripture says; *Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]."* This is another criteria for the devil to submit to you. *DRAW NEAR TO GOD OR COMING CLOSE TO GOD.* Coming close to God in your daily walk with God will give the devil no access to your life. Beloveth, for you to be charged up when you are drained of power, all these points must be critically observed.
