*THE WIFE OF YOUR YOUTH.*(Series 4) *Scripture Reading:* Malachi 2:14-15 *"But you say, “Why [does He reject it]?” Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously. Yet she is your marriage companion and the wife of your covenant [made by your vows]."*(Verse 14. AMP) Well, it’s now time for you to remember what you did to initiate fun in your budding relationship with your wife. It’s time to bring that now-dormant “merry heart” out of hibernation. It’s time to recapture having fun with her and “rejoice in the wife of your youth”! *No matter how much some wives dress and try to look attractive to their husbands, they are not satisfied. They still lust after some young women outside.* They consider their wives old! Such husbands have forgotten that their wives were not old when they married them! Also, these husbands are not as young as they were when their wives married them. Some men have taken foolish decisions to marry a second wife because they want a young, beautiful lady or for other selfish, unbiblical reasons. *For example, the man keep complaining of his wife changes especially during pregnancy period, the swelling face, and legs, breast enlargement, and most especially when the woman has giving birth to three to four children etc.* Some men's love towards their woman started going cold, believing that they can't enjoy her again as before. Due to this, a man turned his hitherto peaceful family into a battleground after engaging in extra marital affair which later resulted in marrying a second wife outside. *The spiritual atmosphere of the family was polluted and strange things began to happen even when she wasn’t living with them. The family suffered different afflictions.* After some time, the man fell ill and died prematurely. May this not be your portion in Jesus Christ name. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
