*HUSBAND AND WIFE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.*(Series 11) *Scripture Reading:* 1 Corinthians 7:3-4 *"The husband must fulfill his [marital] duty to his wife [with good will and kindness], and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have [exclusive] authority over her own body, but the husband shares with her; and likewise the husband does not have [exclusive] authority over his body, but the wife shares with him."*(AMP) Apostle Paul made it clear to all believers (Husband and Wife) responsibility in their marital journey. The husband should not see himself as the lion of the tribe of the home and maltreated the wife and also the wife must not see herself as the controller and make life miserable for the husband. *"In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way [with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the marriage relationship], as with someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered or ineffective."*(1 Peter 3:7) Your wife is not your last born in your father's house that you talk to anyhow. Even in the public, some men does not respect their women, they talk and embarrassed them. *You must live with them with understanding and great gentleness and intelligent. Marriage is not for boys but for mature men with spirit filled and with great understanding.* Women are to be respected especially your wife, she should be honor and respected in all manners. Likewise wife. *"The wife does not have [exclusive] authority over her own body, but the husband shares with her;"*(1 Corinthians 7:4b). Wife, you must understand this, in as much as you are legally married and blessed by God, you do not have authority again over your body, you belong to your husband and you must submit to him as unto the Lord. And give him honor and respect him in all manners. *Both of you must love one another, sacrifice for one another, care for one another, share in pains of one another, share in joy of one another and bear with one another in all things.* Do not maltreat one another so that your prayers will not be hindered and the devil not take advantage of you.
