Scripture Reading: Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(AMP)

The desire of God is that we know Him more and more. In this perverse generation and in such a time as this, it’s mandatory we build a lasting relationship with God so as not to go astray. Drawing closer to God fills us with hope, brings peace, stability, guidance, and direction amidst confusion even in difficult times. A strong relationship allows us to experience His love, be a source of inspiration, and keep our priorities in check. It brings joy and fulfillment beyond earthly desires.

Apostle Paul in Today’s Scripture explained reason why nothing can separate him from God. He said and I quote “For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt].” With this statement, you can be sure that there’s a daily walk with God in this life. That nothing can separate him from the love of Christ. Once your relationship is intact with God, you can boldly say, ‘NOTHING CAN SEPARATE ME FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST.’ If you have not gotten to this point in your walk with God, I doubt if there’s a relationship at all with Him.

What a relationship with God means is that we are receiving communications from God about himself both through His word and through history. He comes to us in Jesus Christ, in His teaching, in His suffering, in His cross, in His death and resurrection, in His apostles, through his word, and He is speaking to us. And His speaking is made vital to us by the present presence of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. That’s the relationship. To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful Friday, peace.

Prayer point: Holy Spirit, help me on my daily walk with you, strengthen my relationship with you Lord in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
