*BUILDING A LASTING, RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.*(Series 4) *Scripture Reading:* Romans 12:4-5 *"For just as in one [physical] body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, 5 so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other]."*(AMP) *6) Regular Church Attendance for Spiritual Growth:* Attending a Bible-believing church is crucial for deepening our relationship with God. Find a supportive community that upholds His word. This should be a place where you can receive encouragement and nurture as a young Christian. Gathering with believers fosters a closer connection with God and this is exactly what Apostle Paul was explaining in the scripture today. (Romans 12:4-5). *7) Memorize Scripture:* Memorizing Scripture transforms your relationship with God. By immersing yourself in His word, you understand His character, His work in your life, and His plans for you, creating a strong bond with Christ. It’s also a good way to know if you have a good relationship with God to begin with. *Memorize Bible verses regularly to guard against temptation and deepen your connection with our Creator.* Psalm 119:11 says; *"Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, That I may not sin against You."* *8) Demonstrate Love for Neighbors through Actions:* As Christians, we’re called to love our neighbors as ourselves. Show love through practical actions like praying, providing support, and expressing care. By extending grace, we can impact hearts and share the transformative message of Jesus. Matthew 22:39 says; *"The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others]."* Because if you claim to love God and you want to build a lasting relationship with Him but you hate your neighbors. *Once you hate your neighbors, you don't love God either.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
