*PRIDE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES.*(Series 6) *Scripture Reading:* Isaiah 2:12 *"For the Lord of hosts will have a day of reckoning Against all who are proud and arrogant And against all who are lifted up, That they may be degraded."*(AMP) God is against a proud heart and His word has confirmed it that a day of reckoning will surely manifest that all those who proud and arrogant will be degraded at the last day. *The way up is the way down. Humble yourself and you will be exalted; exalt yourself and you will be humbled.* We are still looking at signs that shows you're operating in PRIDE: *11) Believe you’re better than everyone else at what you do:* The moment you do not appreciate others work or efforts, displeased at all time in all they do but always proud of what you do yourself. This is pride. *12) Believe you’re right about everything:* When you do not pay attention to some errors in what you do even when your attention is drawn to it, you ignore it and claim you are right. *13) Too stubborn to ask others for help:* Your arrogance makes it difficult for you to ask for help even when it's mostly needed. You prefer to be stranded than asking others for help. *14) More concerned about your reputation than your character:* So concern about what they know you to be and guide it generously but pay no attention to his or her character even when it's affecting ones reputation. *15) Never apologize:* Apology is not in there dictionary. When you find it difficult to say please am so sorry especially when you know you are guilty and yet it becomes a burden to you to say am sorry. *16) Possess an unteachable spirit:* To be unteachable means someone who cannot be taught no matter how much you try. It's a sign of pride when you are teachable and ready to be corrected. *17) Disrespect and demean others:* The spirit of PRIDE cannot be hidden, it manifest fast in such life even in the public. To disrespect, look down on people, disgrace and degrade someone at any time, any place and any where. Kill pride before it kills you. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
