Scripture Reading: James 5:16

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]”(AMP).

The Lord calls us to fervent prayers over any difficult situations in our lives. Do you even know that prayer open closed doors, pull down satanic oppositions and barriers and give victory on every side. Also, do you know that the greatest tragedy in life is not unanswered prayers but unoffered prayers. It’s those who travail in prayer that will prevail in life. As sons and daughters of Zion, God is calling us to prayer. Prayer is a spiritual exercise that can impact our families, communities and has reaching effect in heaven and hell.

Isaiah 66:8 says; “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”(KJV) This simply mean, as Zion (children of God) travail in prayer, her breakthrough come, doors opened, mountains leveled, valley exalted, chains break, disappointment gone, failure ends, bitterness stopped, promise and fail ends, miscarriage stopped, unfruitful ends e.t.c. As the children of God travail in prayer, things are birthed and brought forth in the Spirit. Things begin to happen.

For strengthen and further understanding on travailing, I will be showing you in the scripture examples of people that travailed in prayer on purpose and got results:

Paul was a man who travailed. Galatians 4:19, “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.” Paul had already travailed for them to be born into the kingdom of God , and now he was travailing for the remainder of the work to be done, Christ being formed in them. Paul knew that the destiny of baby Christians was to ultimately come into the fullness of Christ. Those little children were not to remain “babes,” but were to be brought into maturity becoming sons of God. Travail produces sons.

Daniel was a man who experienced travail. Daniel 7:15 says; “I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.“(KJV) He is seen grieving in the spirit over the dream he had. A man can only prevail when he/she travail in place of prayer as our scripture today says; Prayers of the righteous (believers) can produce great results. (paraphrase). To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

Prayer point: The fire on my alter will not die, I am revived and strengthened. I shall travail to prevail in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
