Scripture Reading: James 1:14-15

“But each one is tempted when he is dragged away, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust, passion). Then when the illicit desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin has run its course, it gives birth to death.”(AMP)

4) Bondage And Death: Adultery was punished harshly in biblical times. According to Leviticus 20:10, Adultery was punishable by death by stoning. Perhaps you ask questions like can i die from Adultery or fornication? Yes! Proverbs 14:12 also declared; “There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, But its end is the way of death.”(AMP)

The word of God is clear and we know that all sin results in death. That’s, the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Temptation promises us pleasure and fulfillment in sin, but sin always demands more of us than it offers (James 1:13–15).

Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved from spiritual death. In order “that whoever believes in him might not perish but have eternal life,” he lived a spotless life and paid the price for our sins (John 3:16).

5) Separation from the Body of Christ: Adultery is a betrayal of God and a turning away from Him by the person who commits it. This may have spiritual repercussions, including losing closeness to God and a reduction in spiritual strength and authority. The scars left by sexual infidelity will always be there in different facets of life and relationships since sin always has terrible consequences.

Christians must conduct themselves in a good, holy, and blameless manner in front of others who are not members of the body of Christ. We sin against the Lord and disrespect His suffering and death by choosing unfaithful to our wives. We disregard it and demonstrate our lack of respect for His selfless offering. May God forgive us in Jesus Christ name. Amen! To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a great Friday, peace.

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, take me to the place where I have no will that is greater than your will, may I not lost my strength and authority in the place of immorality in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
