Scripture Reading: John 6:34-35

“Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.” Jesus replied to them, “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually].”(AMP)

I started showing you what Jesus promise to those who come to Him. Let continue from where I stopped yesterday:

3) Come Unto Me And I Will Give You Provision: Jesus is indeed a great provider. The account of John 6:1-14 described the mightiness of His power by feeding five thousand men without counting women and children. “Jesus said, “Have the people sit down [to eat].” Now [the ground] there was [covered with] an abundance of grass, so the men sat down, about 5,000 in number. Then Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed them to those who were seated; the same also with the fish, as much as they wanted. When they had eaten enough, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the leftover pieces so that nothing will be lost.”(John 6:10-12 AMP)

In our scripture today, Jesus was saying that as many that comes to Him and also receive Him as Lord and savior, will no longer lack bread and be thirsty again because Him (Jesus) will sustain him. Also in John 7:37; “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” To get this provision, you must respond and act on the eternal invitation of “COME UNTO ME”. In Him was life and the life was made available to whosoever that come to the living water.

Isaiah 55:1-3 also affirmed it; “Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God]. “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, And your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight in abundance. “Incline your ear [to listen] and come to Me; Hear, so that your soul may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies [promised and] shown to David.”(AMP) All your provisions are made available in Jesus Christ, and to access them, you must come to Him and receive new life. And I can assure you that in the new life, you neither lack bread nor water.

Hear what Revelation 22:17 says; “The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost.”(AMP) When you go through all the above scriptures, you will notice that there’s one thing in common, “COME.” The condition is that you must come. Not minding your status, age, connection, etc. Whatever you need, is in the new life of Christ and except you come, you can’t receive it. To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

Prayer point: Father, you’re the living water and life. Indeed I am thirsty, I have come to the living water and I receive full measure today in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
