*LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.*(Series 4) *Scripture Reading:* 1 Peter 4:11 *"Whoever speaks [to the congregation], is to do so as one who speaks the oracles (utterances, the very words) of God. Whoever serves [the congregation] is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God [abundantly] supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified [honored and magnified] through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."*(AMP) Merry Christmas to you in Jesus Christ name. I want you to know that JESUS is the reason for the season and the best way to truly celebrate the birth of our Lord JESUS CHRIST is to allow the His light to shine in your life. Let everyone around you see the light in you by showing love, sharing love and practice love in your capacity to your brothers and sisters in Faith. Let them see your light and glorify your God in heaven. Happy celebration. There is nothing wrong with allowing others to know what we do for the Lord, as long as we do not do it in other for people to glorify and praise us. *Our light is not to call attention to ourselves but to call attention to that which illuminates (God).* I Cor 10:31 says; *"therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."* Even our God given talent is to be used to glorified God. During His days on earth, Christ did many mighty works but in a way that those who saw them glorified God. Matthew 15:31 says; *"So the crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they praised and glorified the God of Israel."* So, whatever you're going to do to others in this Christmas season, let people glorify God and not you. Don't be too proud of yourself as the giver of that gift but point them back to God the only source of blessing. Also the apostle did not hide their works but they did it in a way that people accepted Christ and glorified the father.(Acts 2:43). To make our light shine as declared by Christ is to stop arguing and complaining. Philippians 2:14-15 says; *"Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness]."*(AMP). Jesus is the reason for the season, let your light shine in this season that they might glorify your God in heaven. Merry Christmas to you. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
