*LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.*(Series 10) *Scripture Reading:* Matthew 13:30 *"Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First gather the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; but gather the wheat into my barn.”*(AMP) Praise be the name of the Lord for the Grace to see the last Sunday in the year 2023, and as I conclude this series today, I pray for more revelation in Jesus Christ name. Amen! 5) INDEED IS A WEED OR A WHEAT: Talking about weed. Weed are unwanted plants that grow along with the wheat (seed). *It quiet unfortunate that so many christian today are weeds even among the genuine believers. It's true they go to church and even among the workers but they don't know who Jesus is. Coming to church to them, is like having a fun, meeting friends, gist, lover of activities but yet, encounter is far away from them.* So therefore, check yourself if indeed you're a weed or a wheat. A weed can be allowed to grow along side with the wheat but later be uprooted and set on fire while the wheat will be gathered a great use. Matthew 3:12 says; *His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear out His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat (believers) into His barn (kingdom), but He will burn up the chaff (the unrepentant) with unquenchable fire.”*(AMP) 6) INDEED IS A SON OR A BASTARD: Every son listen to the instructions of his father but for the illegitimate son, reverse is the case. If you're truly a child of God, your light must reveal every forms of darkness that people may see it and glorify your father in heaven. This is what makes you a son. *But when you claim to be a son and all you do even in your closet is to bring shame to your father or do what your father in heaven will not do, then, you're not a son but a bastard.* Hebrew 12:8 also affirmed that; *"Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all]."* In conclusion, God is light and there's no darkness at all in Him. *"This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]."*(1 John 1:5 AMP). Dearly beloved, Christ today is telling us believers to live an active live and not a passive one. Your circumstances are an opportunity to shine brightly for the Lord and not grow dim or weary. *As we strive to dispel darkness from the world, may God almighty help us to shine so bright to His glory in Jesus Christ name.
