Scripture Reading: Proverbs 21:23

“He who guards his mouth and his tongue Guards himself from troubles.”(AMP)

Great is thy faithfulness oh Lord, morning by morning new mercy we see, all that we needed thy hands have provided, Great is thy faithfulness Lord unto us. To see the first day in the month of February the month of PRAISE, receive all glory in Jesus Christ name.

Continuation from where I stopped yesterday on ways to total freedom;

5) Watch your tongue: The tongue can be used as a weapon to harm and to destroy or as a tool to build and heal. What kind of impact do your words have? Today’s Scripture says that he who controls his mouth will also be free from trouble. This simply mean that even your mouth can determine your total freedom. Proverbs 18:21 says; “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.”(AMP). There’s power in your tongue and it either kills or give life.

Also, Proverbs 15:4 declared; “A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage] is a tree of life, But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress] crushes the spirit.”(AMP). Desire to always bring life out of your mouth no matter the circumstances that surrounds you. Don’t be move by the happening around but in everything, reference the name of the Lord.

6) Develop Unger for the truth: Try all your possible best to seek for the truth and you will get it. But there are many people teaching things in the name of Jesus Christ that are simply false. And as a result the people in their congregations are starving and hungry for the truth because they are not being fed. Read (1 Timothy 4:4-6). This scripture also makes this same point. It tells us that it is critical that those who are teachers need to teach the truth of the gospel and so feed the people of God the good food of the truth because there lies their total freedom. They have a responsibility to ensure the people of God are not hungry for the truth. To be concluded tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and happy new month! WELCOME TO FEBRUARY, Peace.

Prayer point: Holy Spirit, help me to be subjected to you in all things in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
