Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the evil (catastrophe) in his lifetime, but in his son’s days I will bring evil upon his house.”(AMP)

The above scripture, from verse 1, explained how king Ahab admired the vineyard of Naboth the jezreelite and how the king’s wife Jezebel assured his husband that she will get him the vineyard of Naboth. Jezebel wrote a false letter and proclaimed a false witness against Naboth and he was stoned to death.

The moment Jezebel was told that Naboth had been stoned to death, she instructed her husband King Ahab to go and take the possession of the vineyard because Naboth is dead. The King was happy and went down to take possession of it. Jeremiah 23:24 declare; “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the LORD.”
