*TOPIC: AVOID DWELLING ON YOUR PAST.*(Series 10) *Scripture Reading:* Isaiah 41:13-14 *"For I the Lord your God keep hold of your right hand; [I am the Lord], Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel; I will help you,” declares the Lord, “and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel."*(AMP) *5) Depend on God in prayer:* We are serving a God that delights to give you the desires of your heart. *"I sought the Lord [on the authority of His word], and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant; Their faces will never blush in shame or confusion."*(Psalm 37:4-5 AMP) And always answers with a yes when our requests line up with His will. *"This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him."*(1 John 5:14-15 AMP). Entrust it to the Most High. *5) Honestly evaluate if there is an issue of unforgiveness:* You will always major in minor if you have unforgiving spirit. It Always brings the pictures of the past into your memory at a time. And this thus, hindered you from pleasing the Lord. The Lord Jesus in Matthew chapter six, thought His disciples on how to pray; *"And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]."*(Matt 6:12 AMP). This is the will of the Lord that we as His children forgive the pain of the past, let go and let God so that our prayers also will not be hindered. Also, Simon Peter one of His disciples came to Him and asking that when should I forgive my brother; *"Then Peter came to Him and asked, “Lord, how many times will my brother sin against me and I forgive him and let it go? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered him, “I say to you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven."*(Matt 18:21-22 AMP). In my calculation, seventy times seven is to be four hundred and ninety times a day(490). Is it possible for your brother to sin against you 490 times a day? Absolutely NO. *Whenever you see someone who find it difficult to forgive, such person has not been regenerated and the old man still occupied his/her heart. You need to retrace your steps back to Christ if you want to receive the promise of the father and fulfill destiny.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
