*TOPIC: GUARD YOUR HEART.* *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 4:20-24 *"My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn; Open your ears to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, And healing and health to all their flesh. Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful (lying, misleading) mouth, And put devious lips far from you."*(AMP) The actions of every man has its root from within heart. The heart is like a power house that supply energy out and whatever that comes from the power house is what determines the output. Today's Scripture says *"guide your heart with all diligence for from it flow the spring of life...."* When a man's HEART is not well guided, it becomes a source of evil. Jesus said; *"And He said, “Whatever comes from [the heart of] a man, that is what defiles and dishonors him. For from within, [that is] out the heart of men, come base and malevolent thoughts and schemes, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, adulteries, acts of greed and covetousness, wickedness, deceit, unrestrained conduct, envy and jealousy, slander and profanity, arrogance and self-righteousness and foolishness (poor judgment). All these evil things [schemes and desires] come from within and defile and dishonor the man.”*(Mark 7:20-23 AMP). All these evil things come from within and defile a man. The result of foolishness and misconduct is the outcome of the state of the heart. WHEN THE HEART IS IN ORDER, THE RESULT WILL BE A POSITIVE ONE BUT WHEN THE HEART IS CORRUPTED, THE RESULT WILL BE EVIL. that is the state of our country! The heart of all our political LEADERS are corrupted and you can never expect good to come out of it. But the moment we have a leader that possessed the right heart, everything take a good shape. Husband can not just be beating his own dearly wife if the heart is in order and the wife can not just be dishonoring her husband if the heart is in order. Whatever that comes from our actions is as a result of our heart. Don't open up your HEART for one second to things that are ungodly and unedifying if you want to make your christian journey a success. GUARD YOUR HEART BELOVED.
