*TOPIC: MARRIAGE: GROW TOGETHER AS COUPLE.*(Series 14) *Scripture Reading:* 1 Corinthians 7:4-5 *"The wife does not have [exclusive] authority over her own body, but the husband shares with her; and likewise the husband does not have [exclusive] authority over his body, but the wife shares with him. Do not deprive each other [of marital rights], except perhaps by mutual consent for a time, so that you may devote yourselves [unhindered] to prayer, but come together again so that Satan will not tempt you [to sin] because of your lack of self-control."*(AMP) Continuation from where we stopped yesterday. Still on the point of giving your marital duty to one another. *And never deny your spouse his or her right over you. Doing it is a sin to God and a danger to your home.* Adam did not miss the significance of that fact. He said: *“This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”* (Genesis 2:23 ESV) Moses didn’t miss it either. He immediately adds editorial content. He says: *“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”* (Genesis 2:24 ESV) The sexual union of a man and a woman in marriage is justified on the basis of the fact that they were always meant to be together. It is separation that is abnormal and therefore, sexuality is the norm. Sexual union is a return to form. In it you rediscover your essential oneness. *Been faithful to this, help you both to rediscover your oneness, you see no reason for separation because there's a strong bond between you which is the secret of your oneness.* In it, you also forget the things that drive you apart. And that's why apostle Paul admonish couples to take it to heart not to deprived themselves their marital right. *Giving time and conditions for sex in marriage is demonic and never in God's own plan. The devil understood this fact and that's why he often use it against couples.* Lastly, In it, you remember how good it is to be together as one. This help you to pursue the same vision and set a target. *You unlock some hidden treasures by giving yourself to one another and also discover some hidden potential in your union.* Sex is therapy. Be generous in your application. Study your spouse and don't take each other for granted. *Punishing your spouse with sex is a witchcraft and wizard activities from demonic empire.
