Scripture Reading: Romans 8:15

“For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “Abba! Father!”(AMP)

Welcoming you to another fruitful week and bless be the name of the Lord for a gift of life. I pray that this week shall be your week of absolute peace and as we proceed in this series today, may you receive help from above in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

From the above scripture, apostle Paul here speaking to the Romans to stand out in their faith to God. Since they have been adopted by Christ Jesus, they are no longer slaves to sin and bondage.

The word ‘FEAR’: This mean a strong, uncontrollable, unpleasant emotion or feeling caused by actual or perceived danger or threat. Fear is a spirit, originated from the kingdom of darkness to destabilize, disorganize and destroy destiny on the pathway to LIFE.

Fear makes a man to be miserable. fear of the adversaries around, fear of the future, fear of the circumstances around. The moment you allow the spirit of fear into your life, you are gradually endangering your life and slowing down your destiny.

John 7:13 says; “But no one would say anything publicly about him for fear of the leaders.” They knew Him but could not testify of Him in public because they fear the Jew. Today, some people are still afraid to talk openly about Jesus for fear of someone. Afraid of what others will think, say, or do.

And our anchor verse says: “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, Father.” You have not been giving the spirit of slavery but sonship in which you cry Abba father. Fear is another strategy setup of the devil to deprives you from having access to your heavenly inheritance. To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful week, peace.

Prayer points: I bound the spirit of fear sent from the pit of hell to destabilize me from fulfilling destiny in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
