*TOPIC: THE PRAYER OF JABEZ.*(Series 2) *Scripture Reading:* 1 Chronicles 4:10 *"Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would indeed bless me and enlarge my border [property], and that Your hand would be with me, and You would keep me from evil so that it does not hurt me!” And God granted his request."*(AMP) This morning, we will be considering the prayers of Jabez and I will encourage you to prayerfully wait on the Lord as we proceed: 1) *OH, THAT YOU WOULD BLESS ME INDEED:* Jabez cried to the Lord in his darkest time and the Lord heard him. His heart was so collected that God could listen to his voice. Remember, Jabez was the seeds of Abraham and God is a covenant keeping God. He said to Abram; *"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."*(Genesis 12:2-3). Note: In the beginning man was not created to be slave to poverty, slave to pain, slave to sickness, slave to delay, slave to hardship and so on. But the moment man fell, slavery began and was launched into man's destiny. Jabez understood this and he retraced his way back to his source and bitterly raised his voice to God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Let me show you what you must do to be part of this covenant of blessing: *1) Be part of God's family:* John 3:3; You much be BORN AGAIN. If you are not part of this family, you can never gain access to this covenant. Jesus said; *In me, your life, success, breakthrough, elevation, promotion, etc. Is hidden and outside me, you can do nothing.* I wonder the kind of blessing you want without Jesus in your life! Many has refused to carry the yoke of Jesus and learn on Him. They depends and believe in their skills and wisdom, they forgot that Jesus is the givers of all things. If you want to gain access to this covenant of blessing, you need Jesus in your life. Pray these prayers along; : CONFESS ALL YOUR SIN AND SURRENDER YOUR LIFE TO HIM TODAY. ASK HIM TO COME INTO YOUR LIFE AND GIVE YOUR LIFE A MEANING. : OH LORD, TAKE AWAY THIS SHAME, BLESS ME INDEED AND MAKE ME A BLESSING IN JESUS NAME. : JUST AS YOU DECORATED JABEZ, GOD OF ABRAHAM, DECORATE ME TODAY IN JESUS NAME.
