*TOPIC: GUARD YOUR HEART!* *Scripture Reading:* Proverbs 4: 20-24 *"My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips."*(KJV). The actions of every man has its root from within (heart). The heart is like a power house that supply energy out and whatever that comes from the power house is what determines the result. When a man's HEART is not well guided, it becomes a source of evil. Jesus said, *"for from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts. Adulteries, Fornications, Mulder's, thefts, covetousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness."* (Mark 7:21 KJV). All these evil things come from within and defile a man. The result of foolishness and misconduct is the outcome of the state of the heart. *WHEN THE HEART IS IN ORDER, THE RESULT WILL BE A POSITIVE ONE BUT WHEN IT'S CORRUPTED, THE RESULT WILL BE EVIL. that is the state of most believers and also our so call political LEADERS of in our country! The heart of all our leaders is full of evil and corrupted, not well placed and you can never expect good things to come from it.* Husband can not just be beating his own dearly wife if the heart is in order and the wife can not just be dishonoring her husband if the heart is in order. Whatever that comes from our actions is as a result of our state of heart. Don't open up your HEART for one second to things that are ungodly if you want to make your christian journey a success.
