*TOPIC: PRICE FOR GREATNESS.* *Scripture Reading:* Mark 10:43-45 *"But this is not how it is among you; instead, whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first and most important among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”*(AMP). I welcome you to the month of MAY and I pray that in this new month, the good hand of God will be upon you in Jesus Christ name. Amen! Looking at the above scripture, we can see Jesus teaching His disciples the principle of Greatness base on the question asked by James and John. It's quiet unfortunate today that we are living in a time when many aspire to be great, but are not ready to pay the price of greatness, Responsibility, That’s being a 'servant'. *Those who ever become great and stay being great are humble, submissive and follow divine instructions, because they are under authority.* They are not here to serve their own agenda, they are here to serve the needs of others and are characterised by selflessness. Everybody wants to be like Jesus Christ our Lord but nobody wants to *walk the road which He walked.* Everybody wants to be honoured and respected, but nobody wants to be *humble and submissive.* It’s time for us as children of the Most high God to reexamined ourselves again, looking unto Jesus the Christ as our example. Philippian 2:5-9 declare; *"In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus Who, being in very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,.."* *One thing is to desire Greatness and another thing is to be ready for responsibilities and the price required. Whenever you're trying to avoid responsibility, what it means is that you are not qualify for greatness.* Good morning and HAPPY NEW MONTH, peace. *Prayer points:* Holy Spirit, help me to take up the responsibility of greatness and help me to come to the center of your will in Jesus Christ name.
