*TOPIC: MESS UP THE DEVIL.*(Series 7) *Scripture Reading:* John 10:10 *"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]."*(AMP) *5) Devil is a destroyer:* Satan is a destroyer, and the spirit that emanates from him, that drives this world and produces sin, is a destroying spirit. From the above scripture, we can see the last assignment of the devil, *'TO DESTROY.'* When devil is regarded as a destroyer, don't think twice about, his truly is. The reason is this, he knew right from when he has been casted down from heaven, that the end of him will be destruction. *"And the great dragon was thrown down, the age-old serpent who is called the devil and Satan, he who continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him."*(AMP) Also, Apostle Peter drew our attention to this truth about the destroyer, the devil in 1peter 5:8; *"Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour."*(AMP). Can you hear that, his like a roaring lion, going around with his falling angel. What's their mission? Looking for whom to devour, to destroy, to put in everlasting torment of great pain. Again, looking at his mission, Revelation 12:4 says; *"And his tail swept [across the sky] and dragged away a third of the stars of heaven and flung them to the earth. And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child."*(AMP). Devil tried all possible best to devour the child but God rescued Him (the child). And ever since then, devil determined to give what it takes to go after rest of her remaining children (seed). *"So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went off to wage war on the rest of her children (seed), those who keep and obey the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus [holding firmly to it and bearing witness to Him]."*(Rev 12:17 AMP). Can you now see that you are the target of the devil, he purposely came for you. *As a child of God, determine also to mess him up before he takes advantage of you and mess you up. Apostle Peter said we should be vigilant about the devil, don't allow him to mess up your destiny.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
