Scripture Reading: John 21:5-7

“So Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish [to eat along with your bread]?” They answered, “No.” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat (starboard) and you will find some.” So they cast [the net], and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great catch of fish. Then that disciple (John) whom Jesus loved (esteemed) said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer tunic (for he was stripped for work) and threw himself into the sea [and swam ashore].”(KJV).

Our God is a great provider who knows all things and does all things according to His will. Beloved, when Jesus called the disciples, He had prepared the fire and put on it fish and also had bread. He had His own provision before He called them and then He asked for more from the catch and Peter made more available.

Hear this truth: Whatever provisions you think you have prepared for yourself and your family, Jesus, the Great provider had already prepared and made it available for you even before you have them. Whatever you think you have provided Is additional to what Jesus made available for you. Beloved, before Jesus calls you into Ministry or you become His follower, He had provision for you. He has all you need in His care. He His the Great provider.

Listen, For some, He will put in your hands directly and others He will give you through people He had already provided for and through their diligence and honesty, have given them more than enough so they can take care of His church. Beloved, Jesus is your provider, never you look or trust any mortal man for your provisions. He knows exactly what you need and all what He need you to do is to look up to Him alone. He has it all and if you will rely on Him, you will never lack, want or need. He will provide your needs, wants and luxuries. (Psalm 23:1). Do not look elsewhere for your provision or struggle by your own strength and power to provide for your family. Look up to Jesus the great provider. Look up to Jesus, the Jehovah Jireh.

When you look up to Him, there shall always be more than enough for you and your household and all around you shall be satisfied. The more you keep trusting men and relying on your strength, the more you keep struggling with hard labor. Jesus is your Great provider, rely on Him. Good morning and do have a great day, peace.

Prayer points: Father, cause me to always look up to you, my great provider, for all I need and want in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
