Scripture Reading: Ephesians 5:22-24

“Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as [a service] to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ is head of the church, Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also wives should be subject to their husbands in everything [respecting both their position as protector and their responsibility to God as head of the house].”(AMP)

2) Failure to submit as a woman: The Lord has made it clear that the husband is the head of the woman. Meaning, wives ought to submit totally to their husbands for this is the will of God. Just as Christ is the head of the church, so is the husband. They are the head of the home. They will be accountable for their wives. In Genesis 3, after the fall of a man, the moment God came to the garden as usual, the first person He called and asked questions is not the woman but the man because he’s the head of the home. “But the Lord God called to Adam, and said to him, “Where are you?” He said, “I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.” God said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten [fruit] from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”(9-11 AMP)

Whatever that happens in a godly relationships/homes, the first person God will questioned will be the husband because God has commissioned the home into their hands. And because men take the full responsibility of what happened to the homes, women must come to realize that total SUBMISSION is required from her if she’s going to enjoy her marriage.

Verse 24 of today’s scripture says; “But as the church is subject to Christ, so also wives should be subject to their husbands in everything [respecting both their position as protector and their responsibility to God as head of the house].”(AMP). We have two categories of SUBMISSION.

1) Total Submission.
2) Partial Submission.

1) Total Submission: This is the total release of your whole self to the man. No matter the situation of the home, you still submit to his lordship. No condition is attached to your submission but seeing it as your God’s ordained assignment to the man. To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a great day, peace

Prayer point: Lord Jesus, I receive Grace and strength to understand the mind of God concerning my home in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
