Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 3:7

“In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way [with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the marriage relationship], as with someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered or ineffective.”(AMP)

Continuation from where we stopped yesterday about the early stage pregnancy. Just as I said yesterday, to make a godly relationship/home, both couple must acquire relevant knowledge and wisdom to make it work. Don’t be marriage illiterate because it has great impact on your destiny.
“If you are wise, you are wise for yourself [for your own benefit]; If you scoff [thoughtlessly ridicule and disdain], you alone will pay the penalty.”(Proverbs 9:12AMP)

Your wife is beautiful, loving, hardworking and very romantic, but just one thing can put a pulse to this in your marriage for some weeks or months before she can recover and returned to her real person. What’s that thing, EARLY STAGE PREGNANCY. The husband will begin to notice some physical changes in his wife. E.g swelling face, some rashes, splitting everywhere, sluggishness, sleeping regularly, unable to cook delicious meals, going to bed early and waking up late etc. But this is not who she’s truly is but condition warrant it, the EARLY STAGE PREGNANCY.

At this stage, if the husband has acquired relevant knowledge about marriage, it will definitely help him to understand (1 Peter 3:7) and stand in the gap to assist his wife and help her in some domestic work. This will make the woman fill loved honoured and cherished by her husband for understanding her condition. But in a situation where the husband didn’t care about the early stage pregnancy of his wife, and start showing some irritating attitude to his wife because of her look and sudden change, that will be the beginning of the problem in that marriage because the wife can never forget all the attitude showed to her by her husband during her early stage pregnancy. To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. Good morning and do have a fruitful Friday, peace.

Prayer point: Lord Jesus, forgive all my past mistakes for maltreating my spouse in an ungodly way. Help me to sacrificially love my spouse in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
