*PAY ATTENTION TO GOD'S PROMISES RATHER THE DEVIL'S LIES.*(Series 4) *Scripture Reading:* 2 Chronicles 7:14 *"and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land."*(AMP) The devil will try all possible tricks to disallow you from receiving God's promises of mercy for your forgiveness. Just as he tried a d succeeded in deceiving Judas Iscariot after he had betrayed Jesus that he can never be forgiven and that's why Judas Iscariot concluded that suicide is the only option since Jesus Christ cannot forgive him. Judas Iscariot agreed to the lie of the devil and choose the path of destruction for himself. God promises you, first of all, to forgive you for all the times you've fallen into the Devil's trap. Has there ever been a time in your life when you sinned, because you thought it would make you happier? You deserve to be punished by God for that sin. *But God promises to forgive you. According to our scripture today, that if you turn away from your wicked ways, that He will answer your prayers and also heal your land.* He promises to cover your sin with the blood of his Son, Jesus Christ. *"The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." That's a promise you can count on, that is really true - you are really forgiven and really loved by God and stop believing the lies of the devil that you can't be forgiven.* Don't believe the false promise of the Devil that you will be happier if you sin. It just isn't true. Instead, focus on the promises of God. *Believe the one who died for you, who gave His life that you can live. Believe the one who promises to be with you always even when you are rejected. Believe him, and not the Devil.* Do you know that you will be blessed if you are honest and Faithful with God's, promises? You will also be blessed if you walk with and work hard for Him. If you stay away from things that corrupt your spirit man, you will also be satisfy with good things. You will be blessed if you are not only hearing God's Word but doing it. Jesus once said, *"Blessed are those who hear the Word of God, and obey it."* Believe the promises of Jesus, the One who has saved your soul, and you will be blessed. Tomorrow morning by God's Grace, I will be showing you some lies the devil want you to believe about God.
