*THE PURE IN HEART.*(Series 1) *Scripture Reading:* St. Matthew 5:8; *"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."* Do you want to be pure Christian? do you want to see God one day? Do you want to be cleansed? Do you want to be freed from your sin? As we go through this series, the Holy Spirit will reveal more light in Jesus Christ name. The word *PURE*: Simply means being without sin. The word *HEART*: In the Bible, the heart is considered the seat of life or strength. Hence, it means minds, soul, spirit or one's entire emotional nature and understanding. What then does *PURE HEART* mean: it means a heart that desires nothing else than to be with His maker(God). Within the beatitude, Jesus also promises that those who embody this PURE HEART will always see God. *Also, only those with a PURE HEART will know the person of Jesus because that's all what He sees, I mean PURE.* What did Paul say in Philippians 3:13-14? - and I think this is marvelous. He said: *'This one thing I do'* - he didn't say 'This ten things, or dozen things I do'. We, as Christians, can be running around doing a dozen things. Paul says there's one thing I'm going to do and that's press towards God's mark. Brethren, Concentrate on one thing, do it well, and let that one thing be this: *seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness*(Matthew 6:33). Jesus is saying in this our verse: *to be pure in heart is to live one life for Christ, and live it open to all around you. It is being free from hypocrisy, being free from falsehood, or into whatever church you attend and pretending everything is alright, pretending you're the holiest of all in the holiest of all, when you know deep down that things are not right before God in your life.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
