*TOPIC: FEAR, THE PATHWAY TO FAILURE. (Series 2)* *Scripture Reading:* Psalm 91:4-6 *"He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday."* You don't need to be afraid of that situation that looks great before you just as the psalmist says. FEAR will always lead to a zero level no matter how careful you're. *FEAR should not be part of our journey as christian, we are son and not slave.* Yesterday, we started looking at this topic yesterday and I want you to know that the Lord our God has great plans for all His children and the reason why He repeatedly says in His word FEAR not. 2Timothy 1:7 declare; *"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."* But rather gives us the spirit of power, love and self-discipline to help in fulfilling destiny.

INEC, NBS Forge Stronger Partnership to Enhance Data Sharing and National Development The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) have reaffirmed their commitment to strategic collaboration aimed at promoting data-driven decision-making and strengthening national development initiatives. This was the highlight of a courtesy visit by the Statistician-General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Prince Adeyemi Adeniran, to the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday. Receiving the NBS delegation, Prof. Yakubu commended the agency’s commitment to credible and timely data, noting that this was the first official engagement between both organisations. He described the meeting as “historic” and reflective of INEC’s growing collaboration with national institutions, coming just days after a similar visit by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). “We are honoured to receive the Chief Executive Officer and the management team of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). This is the first time such a meeting is holding between our two agencies,” Prof. Yakubu said. “Your mandate to produce and manage accurate, timely, and reliable statistics is key to national planning, and INEC is pleased to contribute to that goal in any lawful way.” The INEC Chairman highlighted the vast national infrastructure managed by the Commission, including its database of adult citizens used for elections and a nationwide network of polling units and ward collation centres, many of which are located in public schools. He emphasised the importance of leveraging these assets beyond electoral cycles to support broader national efforts, citing INEC’s contribution to the COVID-19 response in partnership with the Presidential Task Force and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Prof. Yakubu urged NBS to incorporate data on the condition of public electoral facilities into its regular publications and to advocate for improvements, especially in areas such as electricity, water supply, and accessibility for persons with disabilities. “Let these facilities which train our youths at the foundation and intermediate levels of the education system be beneficiaries of the widely proclaimed dividends of democracy,” he said. He further informed the NBS team of the availability of INEC’s Atlas of Electoral Constituencies and the Electoral Facilities Locator (EFLoc)—both accessible on the Commission’s website—as tools for better planning and coordination between the two agencies. In his remarks, the Statistician-General, Prince Adeyemi Adeniran, reaffirmed NBS’s mission to deliver data that is not only credible but also useful in shaping public policy and driving development. “We are guided by a strong sense of purpose and a renewed commitment to our core mission: providing timely, credible, and relevant data to guide development planning and evidence-based policymaking in Nigeria,” he stated. Adeniran noted that the visit marks a new chapter in inter-agency collaboration and pledged the Bureau’s readiness to work closely with INEC in the interest of national progress.
