*TOPIC: THERE’S A SCRIPT, HOLD ON.*(Series 1) *Scripture Reading:* Psalm 139:13-16 *”For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret, And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth. Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were appointed for me, When as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].”*(AMP) By God’s Grace, in couple of weeks, I will be sharing with you this topic and am trusting the Holy Spirit to reveal more of Himself as we journey together, stay blessed all through in Jesus Christ name. Amen! I want to make it clear to you beloved this morning that there’s a written script that contains everything about your entire life. Whatever that happens to you, is the acting of the script in your hands. Did you catch those last two lines from the above scripture? *All the days ordained for you were written in His book (I like to call it His “script” for our lives) before one of them came to be. God has seen all our days in front of Him before we’ve lived out any of them.* That means nothing takes Him by surprise. Nothing is unexpected to Him, and nothing affects you and me that is outside of His loving plan for us. The writer, designer, and director of our life’s script knows exactly what He’s doing even when we think something is spiraling out of control. In Ephesians 2:10, we read: “We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” There it is again. God prepared good works in advance—before we were ever born and placed into our life’s script. In a more modern translation, that verse, in the context of the three verses preceding it, reads like this: *”Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.”* (Ephesians 2:7-10 MSG). God is the creator, the Genesis and the revelation. He wrote your script many decades ago, He designed it in accordance to His divine will and purpose for your life. *You can’t add nor take away from it. The only person that has the authority to change anything on your script is the almighty God.* To be continue tomorrow morning by God’s Grace. NSCDC FCT COMMAND PASSES OUT 137 TRAINED OFFICERS ON BASIC ARMS AND WEAPONS HANDLING. The Nigeria security and civil defence corps (NSCDC) Federal capital territory(FCT) command has passed out 137 batch 2 trained officers on basic arms and weapons handling in Abuja. This passing out ceremony brings to the number 272 properly retained operatives from both batches in less then a year. In his address the FCT Commandant Olusola Odumosu ph.D, said training and retaining of officers is a continued responsibility of the corps. ” What we are doing here today is one of the ways we are stepping up our game against criminal elements in the FCT in line with the proactive nature and pace of the Minister of the FCT chief Barrister Nyeson Wike” . Commandant Odumosu, said in line with the core mandates of the NSCDC which includes but not limited to the protection of critical National Assets and infrastructure and protection of lives and properly, it has become imperative to train and retrain the personal to be able to stand up to the emerging Security challenges bedeviling the FCT. He disclosed that the officers and men have been trained and equipped with knowledge and skills in weapons handling through months of rigorous regimentation defined by global standards. He noted that in view of the significant trainings received by the men and officers with dedication, the command has made significant arrest for various offenses ranging from vandalism and theft of public facilities, illegal mining, illegal private guards operations and other vices. The Commandant congratulated the personnel passing out for their Gallantry and expressed his satisfaction that the corps could rely on the officers adding that the federal Capital Territory can trust them to protect public facilities which are being installed as a matter of priority to make life better for the citizens. He charged the officers to take their assignment seriously where ever they are being deployed to represent the corps effectively and never to leave their orientation behind . ” In the discharge of your legitimate duties, always remember the rules of engagement, be professional n handling your riffles, protect lives and properties” he stated . The FCT Boss lauded the instructors for the crucial role in sharpening the skills , providing knowledge and instilling values necessary for this new batch of officers and men to succeed in their careers. He saluted their courage , determination and passion for the job . Commandant Odumosu assured that the corps will not relent in it’s commitment to delivery on the corps core mandate as a corps noting that the corps will continue to justify the confidence repose in the it. In attendance at the event were the chief of staff Guards Brigard col. A. Bello, representatives of the naval commander , Naval unit Abuja Navy captain S. Ochepo, you representative of FCT Sector commander FRSC Deputy Sector Commander II Nzapisima, Head of Operations, representative of FCT minister Mr. Olubiyi Sunday of Security Department . Oppression has created Afrikans to be Caucasian in mind with Afrikans skins… Black skins with white masks.. ‘Fanon’ With a chained mind now he sits in power to manage the very institutions (religion economics education etc) with state instruments which maintains the very prison of his soul. They tell him he is free, but not to be himself albut follow the dictates of a foreign system. You can not expect round poles to fit in square holesThis is the foundation of Afrikan mysery, which destroys the very core of African societies with the lingering effects of colonialism. African thinkers like Frantz Fanon, Ngugi wa Thiong’o, Steve Biko, Chinua Achebe, Sankara and Chinweizu echo these sentiments.The image of a “chained mind” is particularly striking, highlighting the ways in which colonialism and its legacy have constrained African thought, innovation, culture, and identity.With pride the Afrikan now wears these chains and ties to demonstrate their full initiation in the “acceptable courtroom” of foreign dictates.
