This idea that Peter Obi won #NigerianElections2023 in 19 states and the FCT and should be declared winner can lead to another #EndSARS like uprising if not checked. First of all, it is not true. But even if it is true, winning in 19 states plus FCT without getting 25% in two thirds of 36 states (24 states), can’t win you the election! For you to believe Obi won in 19 states the 2023 Presidential election, you must suspend reality, and believe that he won in the 5 Southeast states (true), and the six South-South states (possible), and Lagos, and then 7 states in Northern Nigeria (unlikely). He could win Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa. But where else in the North? Name it. Is it Kaduna, or Borno, or Kwara, or Kogi? Name the states. Be realistic even as you insult me!

What Nigerians don’t yet seem to realise is that both Ahmad Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila have been reelected and are likely to retain their National Assembly positions as Senate President and Speaker of the House, or be replaced by members of their clique if retention proves irksome. Meaning that, if all things remain equal, on May 29, 2023, the President, vice President, Senate President, Speaker and Chief Justice may likely all be Muslims males.
