That God raised a man like me from the dead is the reason why we preach the gospel. For since by man came death, by man also the resurrection of the dead (1 Corinthians 15:21). It is a man that brought sin into this world and also it is a man that will deliver man from sin. The greatest insult in life is you saying that God became a man. When God formed the first man Adam, he was made a living soul (Genesis 2:7). The choice of living or dying was given to the first man. Adam chose to die and death passed upon all men. God loves man so much that God had to redeem man; God had to send the second man who is Jesus to be the payment for sin (Acts 2:22). God did not come by Himself, He gave us a man that will redeem us who is Jesus (John 3:16). Jesus is a man. It is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead that makes Christianity unique (Romans 8:11). The Spirit of God raised Jesus from the dead and anyone that believes in the resurrection of Jesus is saved. The basis of our salvation is that God can raise a man from the dead. If Jesus is God, “know it that God can never die”. If Jesus is God, then Christianity is fake but when Jesus rose from the dead, he received immortality. Now, he cannot die again. So when you see some verse of scripture referring to Jesus as God, what it means is that “now that he resurrected, he cannot die again”. This is our faith and this is our hope. I call you blessed.
