*TOPIC: MESS UP THE DEVIL.*(Series 2) *Scripture Reading:* Matthew 14: 28-31 *"Peter replied to Him, “Lord, if it is [really] You, command me to come to You on the water.” He said, “Come!” So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus extended His hand and caught him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”*(AMP) Just as I said yesterday, devil will try all means to mess you up and make your life miserable at the end. Let continue from where we stopped yesterday. So many great things you wanted to achieve but you couldn't even make a beautiful step about. Eventually, you stopped in the process even at the edge of the breakthrough. Do you know what, it's the devil who mess you up. Have told you, he has nothing good to offer than to destroy all your good dreams, ambition, awaiting prophecy not yet fulfill, etc. That's why the Bible says; Jeremiah 29:11; *"For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope."*(AMP) But it's the destiny of the devil to see those prophecy and good plans of yours not coming to fulfilment. Today's Scripture got my attention that I have to meditate on it more. *All the disciples saw Jesus walking on a water, at first, they it was a ghost but Jesus made them understand that it's truly I. Then, all of them kept muted but only peter said if you're truly Jesus, ordered me to come. And Jesus said to him, COME.* The moment he saw himself walking on a water just like the master, he saw another master in himself. And at that point, the devil said NO, not you again and he then create a scene immediately and Peter fell and started sinking down. NOTE: *The more you're standing with the Lord, the more you're the devil's target.* So, never you compromise your faith while walking with the Lord. The devil is always watching all your steps.
