*TOPIC: DISTRACTIONS, TOOLS OF THE DEVIL AGAINST BELIEVERS.*(Series 11) *Scripture Reading:* Ephesians 5:15-16 *"Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people], making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil."*(AMP) Don't forget, we are still looking at how to overcome distraction. *5) Be wise:* The king James version of the above scripture says; *"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."* Sometimes, getting easily distracted is as a result of our foolishness. Someone who's a fool can be easily distracted without no stress but when you see a wise man, he lives carefully to observe things around and address it in a polite ways. The Bible says, he that walk with the wise will be wise and he that associates with fools will be folly in his act. A fool has no regards for anything and that's why they were easily distracted and at the end, miss the golden plans of God for their lives. *6) Be addicted to prayer:* It's very difficult for a praying man to be easily distracted. When prayers becomes your daily lifestyle, it make it hard for the devil to carry out his plans over you. Jesus, as example of living a prayer lifestyle throughout His life. And that's why He was not distracted, even at cross, He kept focusing on His mission. Mark 1:35 says; *"Early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left [the house], and went out to a secluded place, and was praying there."*(AMP). Develop yourself on a daily praying lifestyle and it will help avoiding some distractions around you. To be continue tomorrow morning by God's Grace.
