The relentless surge in nationwide killings, kidnappings, and violent crimes concerns many. This worsening situation persists. Non-state actors inflict suffering on families through kidnappings and brutal killings. I strongly condemn the killing of Supersports TV crew members in Anambra State’s Ihiala-Orlu Road ambush. They were traveling to Uyo for work when the tragedy occurred, claiming lives and resulting in kidnappings. A recent terror attack in Benue’s Agatu local government area also claimed lives. These frequent attacks, often unreported, now mark our daily existence in a formerly secure nation.
